Why Suo? Suo is a Finnish word for swamp. Even though swamps have a reputation for being uninteresting places, and can often characterize the hurdle of doing things together, we believe that this is not the whole picture! Swamps are also hidden treasures: rich ecosystems where new opportunities and unexpected collaborations also flourish.
Why &Co? Co stands for collaborative, collective and contemporary ways of doing things! Join our collective
We also have strong links to Finland, the hint to the opening lines of Väinö Linna’s novel “Under the North Star” is intentional: “In the beginning there were the swamp, the hoe – and Jussi.”
